Our history
The ITEC Group is a recognized national player in the consulting, design, integration and production of low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies, low-voltage electrical distribution systems, low-voltage main switchboards, cabinets, boxes and electrical panels for industry, infrastructure and the service sector.

The ITEC group was created in 1995 by Gilles Fradin and Jacques Bachelot and has progressively become one of the French leaders in the electrical board market.
After a technical electrical training and several years of experience, the two main shareholders decided to create the Group. They saw it as a professional opportunity but above all as the possibility of fulfilling a joint desire : star a business together.
With more than 10 years of friendship, they have the same vision of things and the will to industrialize their profession, this specialization will allow the group to quickly increase its performance. In 6 months, the group grew from 5 to 20 people, largely exceeding their initial objectives and becoming part of a constant evolution combining strategic development thinking and common sense.
A history in motion
The Group has grown by alternating external growth with the integration of new entities throughout France, and internal growth with the spinning off of key areas of expertise such as the Mechanical Engineering office, Engraving and Services.
Integration of strategic trades
Since its first years of existence, Itec has invested in R&D with a dozen patents that make it the technical added value of the group and develops the implementation of industrial processes. The strength of the group is to have directly integrated the most strategic parts of the design of electrical cabinets.
The group therefore masters the manufacturing chain of its products to the maximum, in order to offer you optimal solutions (for a single cabinet as well as for small series production).
The ability of Itec’s teams to adapt to a business that has become increasingly technical and demanding in terms of standards and safety has been the driving force behind its constant development throughout the country.
A local solution thanks to a national presence
The Itec group is now a national player recognized for its know-how in consulting, design, integration and manufacturing of electrical cabinets and boards for industry, infrastructure and the tertiary sector.
From 5 employees at the beginning, Itec group now has 4000 employees and 21 subsidiaries throughout France, with the desire to be as close as possible to its customers. Recently, the group has seized the opportunity to develop outside its borders with its subsidiary “Tableaux du Grand-duché” in Luxembourg.
